Tim Borel and the two women he assisted in getting a flat tire fixed

Three cheers for New Iberia resident Tim Borel who opened up his heart of compassion to assist two women who were waiting for someone to assist them to fix a flat tire on the shoulder of Interstate 10 near Baton Rouge a week ago. The two ladies who are a mom and her daughter had to wait around 30 minutes since there was no driver who wanted to do them a favor by fixing their flat tire. After Tim fixed their flat tire, the two ladies whose names were not mentioned thanked Tim for doing an act of kindness. Tim went on Facebook to remind all of us to stop judging people based on their race and work together to make this world a happier place. Take that news media who enjoy reporting about racial division just to keep their ratings up. Truth is stranger than fiction.

I agree with you since motorists do not bother to assist a stranded driver due to the danger of speeding autos.

I'm positive these good Samaritans do this all the time without regard to race. It is that goodness in most of us that will always help someone in need. The media doesn't want to show that side of people, because it does not fit their leftist agenda.

That's nice that Tim helped the two women but it's a shame that it is newsworthy. It would be a great thing if helping each other was just something everyone did.
