What do you do if you are feeling upset?

You have your own ways to deal with this overpowering emotion. If I am feeling like this, I just sleep or walk around the park. I cannot do the second option, so I just sleep and feel refresh afterward. There are times that I just write about something and let take its course to drain the bad feeling. How about you, guys? What do you do? Image Credit: 25.media.tumblr.com

I also love being in nature. A simple activity like sitting under the tree and read a novel book.

When I'm upset I try to avoid being around people. They might do something to flip me off. And it's just a bad reaction because I'm already pissed! So I avoid being around people so that I don't offend them. Once I have calmed down I return to the world!

I sometimes do this. Sometimes we might offend others. There are times when I am having an argument with somebody, I need to go out to prevent making the situation worse.

You need to tell Dr. Who to come in out of the rain, first. He might get sick if he keeps standing in it. I get growly and go to bed before I snap everyone's head off. By the time I wake up I'm usually feeling much better.

Here we go again. I think having a nice nap will not snap someone's head.

@Shavkat Uhm... what? As long as I don't encounter anyone before I get my nap, everyone else gets to keep their head.

@Shavkat I tried to write things down, but, did not help. I got breathing exercises that did not help. I figured the upset feeling will not go away. For me it depends on what else is going on in my life. I try to ignore what upsets me or sometimes I have had enough so yell. By the way I know that is not the answer but I am so tired of the nasties that cause me so much pain.

We do have some causative factors that feel so upset. For me, I always think that having problems will not be solved overnight. We can still do it one step at a time.

When I'm upset I usually cry and move away from what is upsetting me. It's crazy I know but crying helps me overcome faster
