So, the one time stretch during the summers which I find the most uncomfortable is on now.
It is hot- 40C plus and very humid.
From now (starting from a few days back),till almost a month, most of the days would be hot, with temperature near 40 C and high humidity.
It becomes even tougher in places outside with no air conditioning.
Digestive system also takes a bit of a hit. We need to be strict on our diet, but often our taste buds give away!
Some rains do come in between, but overall, it is quite a tough time.
And all this means that we have to run our AC a lot, and the electricity bills are going to shoot up!

Yes, we do not have an option but use air cooling else we would be very uncomfortable.

Indeed, it can be draining. And I do need a haircut now. Perhaps I would attempt one day.

So I might go for No. "3" - short on most sides, and medium on one or two(well, may be if that is the classification).

We had 2 days of rain and we have a cooler day. But this afternoon there is a need to water the plants. Tomorrow will be another regular sunny hot day.

I am from Chennai, very hot spot for summer heat. Always putting AC as also fearing about power bill.
But no other options to escape from hot weather.

I was in Chennai in Sep-Oct 2010. Luckily many days it rained then. On some days it was humid but still not very hot. So I was lucky.
One of my friends stayed from March to July in Chennai many years back and told me that it is very hot and humid.
The only benefit that Chennai has over Delhi is the absence of Dry and Hot summers which can cause dehydration and heat stroke.
Also, dust levels in Chennai looked less than those in Delhi.
