Success. Glory. Fame. Bright Lights. Awards. Fan followings. When we see someone having such things, especially Movie or TV stars, we assume that their life is perfect. We think that life is a bed of roses for them. Yet we fail to think about as to what could be going on behind the scenes. Often, such stars have troubles going on in their personal lives. Breakups, issues in Professional Life, not living up to own high expectations and so on. Something similar happened to one of the top Indian Bollywood actors and TV star Sushant Singh Rajput. He had shot to fame playing M.S.Dhoni, a great Indian cricketer's role in his Biopic. He also played great roles in Kai Po Che, Kedarnath, Chicchore(2019) and a supporting role in PK(2014). He has reportedly committed suicide in his house. He was suffering from depression and undergoing treatment since last six months. Things are not fully clear, but may be things that come with stardom consumed him. Perhaps, media, others in the acting fraternity and public should see a person as a human being first, and then an actor or a star. Yes, we all love success. Yet anyone can fail. Anyone can succeed, then fail and succeed again. If one day we do not live up to our own or others' expectations, it should not be the end of the world. And 2020 has been a very very sad year for Bollywood. We also saw the deaths of great actors- Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor, and music director Wajid Khan. May God bless Sushant Singh Rajput's soul. @ExplorewtMe Yet, in many countries and cultures, people still view talk of mental health as a taboo, and often people do not open up. As an example, I cannot talk about financial constraints with some of the folks I know since they can spread the things in a wrong manner. But yes, sometimes we all need to open up and talk about certain issues.

@ExplorewtMe Yes but in this case, this actor became very lonely and perhaps did not approach some folks who could have guided him.

@ExplorewtMe Many things are emerging. He was a victim of groupism and nepotism in film industry. Somehow it looked he had become too lonely.

When a person is surrounded by folks whom he sees through and cannot trust, it does feel lonely I suppose. But that is no excuse to run away. God will put him in same situation next life and many lives till he finds a way to come out of it. This is so temporary. Imagine the grief of folks left behind who genuinely loved him. Not fair to them.

@vandana7 Yes he could have reached out to someone on phone, or may be through social media. Yet people are now angry at the Film Producer's cartel who tried to destroy his career and led to many movies slipping from his hands.

@Lavanya15 yes, but some people seem to fall into a trap. Loneliness and despair can often overcome logical thinking.
