Quarantine Wedding

My son and his girlfriend for three years finally tied the knot in a civil union amidst this pandemic. It was reset for several times because of some papers needed, also because of the lockdown caused by that deadly virus! When things eased up, the Judge at the Family Court notified us that he will conduct the wedding rites but we should observe health protocols imposed by the government like wearing of masks, distancing, and no guests allowed. It was a memorable, simple wedding where we celebrated at our home with just the family members there, a total of nine people including me and my husband. No guests/party because it is not allowed during this pandemic.

Will there be a "celebration" later in the year?

How lovely! Congratulations to the bride and groom. A huge wedding isn’t necessary to say your vows. I wish them health and happiness.

AS long as there are witnesses, that's more important. WHo cares about grand weddings anymore.

We were all wearing face masks! Quite weird, but it's fun too! Part of history because of that deadly virus!
