I don't really like frozen food but sometimes it's good to have, especially when I am not in the mood to cook or the fridge is mostly empty.
In the past, the only frozen stuff I used to buy was waffles, pizza, or dumplings and pelmeni. But now we get more stuff like tamales, orange chicken, hash browns, frozen veggies, etc. And I get this stuff from Trader Joe's. It tastes great and doesn't cost a lot of money.
Last night for dinner we made the frozen orange chicken and I boiled some rice and blanched some broccoli. It was pretty tasty and I even have plenty left over for lunch, which I am about to have.
Do you ever buy frozen food or dinners?

We buy quite a lot of frozen vegetables. They reckon it's actually fresher than store-bought.

Perhaps it is. I usually buy fresh ones or use those from a can.

Since I can't cook anymore, my husband buys a lot of frozen food and dinners. We eat a lot of chicken tenders and that sort of thing.

I can eat chicken tenders once in a while but not really a fan. I guess as long as frozen foods only have natural ingredients and not of that added stuff we can't even pronounce I am okay with it.

I rarely buy ready meals as I always find it easy to prepare my own

I don't buy it often either. But things like orange chicken, for example, I will not make myself. And it's good that I can have it in the freezer to eat and not worry about takeout.

I don't really like frozen food. It's just a convenience.

Definitely a convenience, especially when there is nothing to make food out of or I am pressed for time.
