Fathers Day

Today is Father’s Day and I hope all the wonderful fathers out there had a special day with their kids. It was sunny this morning and rained in the afternoon. And of course it was hot. Leo’s daughter and granddaughter visited early and his son and wife visited in the afternoon. We all wore masks but I hear there is a first time for everything and it was the first time we’ve worn masks in our home with the kids. Anyway we didn’t pass any germs around and we enjoyed visiting, which we haven’t done much of late. Maybe someday we can all get back to normal but since we continue to have more covid cases it doesn’t look good.

We enjoyed both visits. We meet in the park but this was the first time they had been inside the apartment in awhile.

Leo went to the park today to meet with his daughters and granddaughter, I wasn’t feeling good so I didn’t go. I don’t believe I have the virus but just in case I’m not going out. I think I might have a stomach bug.

I know I'm a day late reading this, but I hope everyone in your family had a great time yesterday celebrating Father's Day. I had a wonderful day with my own two kids. It didn't really feel like any kind of special day for me, because I always spend lots of close family time with my two kids even on normal days. But we did go out to eat at this very expensive and fancy Brazilian steakhouse. It was my first time eating at a Brazilian steakhouse, so it was a nice treat for me. Loved the experience!

@RubyHawk Probably because so many are not wearing masks and are not practicing social distancing. Also, some countries are still on lockdown.

@simone10 I think so. There are even more covid cases reported today. We must all be very careful not to be exposed. We mustn’t be near anyone without a mask.
