The strong sunlight may make it hard to see that there are purple swirls on the saddle skirt. That's a gold bridle, too. The saddle seat is green. The mane and tail are copper bronze. Wow its bright out there!
I think this project is done and good enough. I have another horse out in that garden area. I may buy another can of copper spray paint and give him a going over next. There are pumpkin plants and a tomato and a cucumber along with the tub of blooming cat mint there by the horses. I've never been a gardener who just planted plants. Got to have a little jazz mixed in, you know?

@DianneN Thanks. I am not totally delighted with the gold paint on the bridle. It did appear to show more when it dried, though. In a way I wish I could find more of these horses so that I could do more color quilting. I've graduated from color books! Now if I only had the steady hand of youth.

Thanks @kobesbuddy. He fell off his back wire today but hubby rewired him. Its fun to watch him sway in the wind.

@kobesbuddy I like that. A horse ranch. I wish I could find some other plastic critter but I guess only horses were ridden by the kiddos in the 50s and 60s.

@Janet357 "Silver" pony is made of plastic. He started out as one of those ride on bouncy kid's toys- you possibly aren't old enough to remember those. They had a metal frame with springs attached. A child got on and had tons of fun bouncing on the horse.
