Happy Monday Everyone! it's a beautiful day here today and perfect summer weather...not too hot and humid. It would be even more perfect if I could sit outside and enjoy it but the lawn people are here spraying for lantern flies. Seems we have been inundated with them this year and this is not the first time they're spraying. I'm happy to see that the HOA is on top of this insect infestation and that our trees are being well cared for. On the flip side it's annoying to have to stay inside on such a beautiful day.
Since there's more things going on in the world than not being able to sit outside I'm really not complaining.
The morning flew by and I'm only sitting at the computer now. I just finished paying some bills so I figured I'd pop on here for awhile while I'm at the desk. I don't myLot from my phone or Kindle (rarely)
Of course I've already finished my coffee and am almost ready for lunch.
It's just a matter of deciding on what to have. I'm pretty much in the mood for a salad but who knows what I'll choose when I venture into the kitchen.
Anyway, here we are with only two days left for this month. Are you trying to add to your piggy bank??

@JimBo452020 me too but I'm happy I have outdoor space to enjoy. I couldn't imagine being cooped up in an apartment during quarantine.

I just looked up lantern flies - they look kinda pretty - but an infestation would not be good. We're at mid morning right now - I think we'll go outside for a while and maybe work a bit on the garden again before it gets hot. Salad sounds good - we ate kinda heavy during the weekend. Payout is in sight - I didn't think that would happen but I think it will. You have a good day and week too!!!

@much2say last year was the first time I ever heard of them and they came and sprayed. This year this is the second time around so I guess it's worse this year. I probably wouldn't even had paid attention if I saw one but they made such a big deal about it that I'm more aware.

Lantern flies cause a lot of damage and we have lots of trees since it's the country.

Thunderstorms here, but we had a surprise visit from our son with 3 pots of yellow marigolds. They are getting a drink of rain right now.
No bugs here to speak of. We're due for our next lawn treatment July 1st, but it's all natural and we rarely walk-on the lawn now that Doodles is gone.
I walked early this morning and did one load of laundry, vacuumed and dusted. I'm done for the day.
I'm doing my usually myLotting. Money isn't an issue for us, especially since the virus came. No eating out and cooled it with the shopping.

You're lucky your trees haven't been attacked by lantern flies. They are horrible and cause a lot of damage.
I love marigolds and I'm sure they are really pretty. I didn't get any flowers for my deck this year. My poor deck looks forgotten

I started chatting here earlier, then my phone rang and I had a marathon phone call with my friend. We haven't talked in about two weeks so we had a lot to catch up on. Now I'm back here to chat some more.
