Eeyore Umbrella Was My Friend

Happy to report, as of earlier this morning, the bluebird eggs are safe. I was a little concerned due to the weather. Thunderstorms yesterday. And now they have started back once again. Took my handy-dandy Eeyore umbrella (yes I have an Eeyore umbrella) out to the bluebird house when I checked on the eggs. All three are fine. The parents were talking to me in the tree. Got inside just in time before the thunder and lightning started again, and it is pouring rain like yesterday. This is the 3rd storm today already and it is only 9:30am. That is all ok with me, I will stay inside and enjoy the sound.

Glad to hear the bluebirds are safe. I only use Burberry umbrellas lol, but that's me. It's been sunny all morning, but the storms should be here sooner or later. I am going out to visit the kitties before it pours right now.

This is my garden umbrella and was a gift a few years ago, very special. I rarely use it but it worked great. Very large and it covered the house as I peeked in at the eggs. I have a Repel hat I carry with me in the car.

We may have rain today, but we shall see. That is such a cute umbrella. I do hope the bluebird eggs remain safe.

@CarolDM Enjoy the storms. They can be so calming provided they aren't so bad.

No storms here, just wind. I need an umbrella to shade me from the sun, I would keep it in my car in case I ever broke down.

Yes they, and these are in a house, so that is good. The birds always "talk" when I get close but they know I mean no harm.

Nothing at all, I love the umbrella. Others have made comments (not here) about it being a child's umbrella. I am like whatever!
