I guess I forgot how long it takes to park, check in and make our way to the specialty clinic at VA. I did not allow enough time. We were late, so everyone else got moved ahead of us. We learned what we already knew. Hubby will need an exploratory procedure, someone will call and set it up with us. I finished up a mask for each of us for today. After I had worn mine for quite a while I began finding cat hair. Yep, Mickey did help. This appointment was in the town where we shop Aldi's . I got eggs for 84 cents per dozen and milk for $1.59 per gallon. I got two gallons as I will make yogurt for us to use in our meals while it is so hot. We had a really good burger on sourdough bread at Spangles. Shared a small order of fries. Their fries are good. I usually dislike fries. So, I think I am going to start some sourdough starter, and make some yogurt. We really enjoy sourdough bread. I got online really early this morning and cashed out for Amazon gift cards on two of my sites, because I wanted to order some Amazon stuff. Forgot one thing I wanted to order, so I will do it later. It is our hottest day so far this year and we can feel it. Normally we start hitting about 100 F. near the first part of July. So I am in the office, door closed, a/c on.

I think they were also really backed up, catching up with three months worth of shutting down to only emergncy or Covid.

Our eggs are $A5.00+ a dozen. Our dollar is worth 69c. Most of our foods seem to be dearer although it's hard to tell sometimes. Best wishes to your husband.

Oh this is not the typical price. Aldi is often much cheaper. In the regular grocery I think they are about $2.50 per dozen. Our beef has really gotten high priced due to illnesses in the packing plants. Supply chain. There is plenty of beef on the hoof, just not as much in the stores.

Yeah, give me a baked potato any day. These were good and fresh and hot, enough to make me almost change my mind.
