June 30 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today is a good day because I choose to make every day good even when I can't find anything good about it. Though because I choose to find the good, I always do. Make sense? Good.
Today is extra good.
I'm thankful for the sleep I got. Six hours, an hour less than yesterday, but I didn't need more than that.
I'm thankful for the work I accomplished on Vendetta. I have another scene set up. So, we'll see what tomorrow brings.
I'm thankful my grandson's test results came back negative. I'll be in the pool tomorrow. I can't wait.
I'm thankful for the fitness goals I achieved today. I'm an overachiever according to the Fitbit.
I'm thankful I took the time to watch a favorite movie, one of many starring my favorite actor, Charlton Heston. The movie The Greatest Show on Earth won the Academy Award in 1953 for Best Picture.
Okay, that's the highlight of my day. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. I'll see you tomorrow. It's time for me to get to bed so I can be up early tomorrow for the pool.

So glad to hear your grandson's test came back negative! It means you can venture out into the world again! But be careful out there so that you don't end up getting the virus! And speaking of, my boss notified us all by email yesterday that he has the virus. I talked to him by phone yesterday afternoon and he sounded awful. I hope he doesn't get too sick from the virus.
And you are right about making each day be a good day. I am naturally optimistic and upbeat, and I always tend to see the good in things, so that often helps put me in the right mindset to have a good day each day. Doesn't mean I always do, but it more than likely sets me up for success.

I am thankful I found a nice painting to go in here, and that I got the chromebook up and running so I can take that with me instead of lugging the big computer with me.

@just4him Well done to you for what you've done and for all you're thankful for. May I please ask as I must have missed it but what was your son getting tested for? The virus?

@just4him oh I am so glad he is alright! It's been worrisome hearing about all the cases in the world.
