Life Coach

I have this thought of speaking to a life coach for my anxiety issues. Moreover, I have pains and fears that I have to let go of now. It's been adversely affecting my mental health for years. My friend's cousin is a life coach and each session costs Php 2500 or $50, and I need to complete at least 6 sessions. Have you ever considered going to a mental health professional?

Heavenly Father thank you for loving Maria. Lord I ask that you heal her and touch her with your amazing love. Father show her who she is in you. Show her the worth that you see in her. I pray for your love to shine for her to see. Take away all of the pain, hurt and sorrow Lord. In Jesus name I pray Amen.

I have sought and tried many modalities to improve my health. Unfortunately, many things I have tried have been of little help. Still, when one is suffering they are desperate for solutions.

@freelancermariagrace Life is not easy but I am very happy to have found ways to deal with challenges. There are many false paths but if we keep looking we can also find the good paths. I wish you good success!

Well actually it's something I've thought about, if I ever feel like I need it, be sure I'll look for it.

@freelancermariagrace Oh yes and it is very frustrating, but I try to calm down being with my daughter and do any activity that entertains me.

They usually teach cognitive behavioural therapy. Think nice thoughts, take small steps towards bigger goals so it's not overwhelming. Good luck.

Would a therapist be more expensive for you or find a friend that can help you.

I have never thought about paying someone to talk to. I guess I grew up in time and place that we were told life is hard get over it. Push through the hard times and make things better. I guess everyone is different and I hope you find the strength to get through it. I wish you the best in it and hope that things work out well for you sooner than later.

@freelancermariagrace That would be nice. I have always had to be the strong one for my sisters and mom and some others around me. I guess I learned from my dad to just keep everything bottled up inside and don't let other know about how you are feeling. Maybe that wasn't all bad.

Maybe because you have a strong support system at home, Bensen. If that's the case, you are lucky

So far, by God's grace, no! When I'm emotionally feeling disturbed, I have two wonderful people who always rescue me. One is an Indian spiritual guru called 'Sadhguru' whose practical and logical ways of dealing with the problems of the mind always enlightens me When even that can't save me, I can always count on my husband. He doesn't mind if I break his head

Lucky I haven't been to one. Because I myself are little into psychology, and my friends are trained counsellor too. Hope you get through the tough times. Bring God everyday to your prayers and thoughts.
