Interesting Morning

Today is "one of those days." We are still at the condo because of the way the morning has played out. Remember me telling you about how bad the little grandson is? Well he has proved his point once again.
We all had breakfast and I cleaned up the kitchen, loaded the dishwasher and we started getting ready for our day. My husband and daughter were having a chat in the sitting area of the condo when all of a sudden they both broke out in laughter and told me to "come here and hurry."
I found my grandson covered in chocolate. My daughter's S/O had left the carton of chocolate ice cream in their bedroom and apparently it had ice cream in it. So the little one was covered in liquid chocolate from head to toe, inside ears and every other crevice on his body. There was also a big splat in the carpet which of course was beige. So the S/O has been cleaning the carpet for about two hours now along with a shopping trip.
In the meantime my daughter and I are chatting at the bar in the kitchen and notice the little one is nowhere in sight. We started looking for him. Nowhere to be found. We come back to the kitchen and find him with a bottle of Palmolive Dish Soap half empty on the floor and he is having fun slipping and sliding. Now he wasn't there when we first started looking for him. We were sitting on the other side of the bar.
After we cleaned up the mess we discovered that he had gotten the bottle from under the sink where housekeeping had stored a spare. Normally there is only one bottle on the counter by the sink.
Next we found his hiding place--one of the kitchen cabinets on the floor.
We are going to try to get out of here in a little while and take shifts. The little one needs a nap!!
The photo is of little mister trouble maker.

@moffittjc I imagine that my daughter will be called up to the school quite a bit! She will be homeschooling her daughter for the first semester so that may be an option if it goes well.

@kareng He probably is going to be a handful at school. I hope he makes it through unscathed. Actually, I hope his teachers make it through unscathed! lol

At that age, they can get hurt easily. They need to be watched 24/7, by a responsible adult.

@kobesbuddy I was telling my daughter the other day that it is amazing that he hasn't had any broken bones yet! I'm sure there will be some in the future.

I’m 16 years older then my youngest sister. She did the same sort of things. Usually she did these activities in my bedroom. Lucky me. What a cutie pie your grandson is.

He needs to be watched 365/24/7. He's cute; but he sounds like a hand full!
