Watched most of Hamilton last night

Hamilton has been all the rage on Broadway for the past year or two. You can't get tickets for less than $500 a piece STILL according to my uncle. My theater-obsessed coworker has been raving about it since it came out. I was interested but not $500 interested. One of the performances was recorded last year and released onto Disney+ yesterday. Another coworker has a subscription to Disney+ and she had given me the username and password months and months ago sooooooo I was able to view it. I didn't know what to expect going into it. I figured it had something to do with Alexander Hamilton but I didn't see the unique twist that they put on the story. I got about half way through it when I finally had to give up and go to sleep. I will finish it tonight. I would definitely recommend it to others, though, based on what I've seen thus far. It seems that it deserves all of the raves and accolades that it has gathered.

That's good to know. I saw it was on Disney+ when I got onto my Roku this morning. My son gave me his Disney+ so I can watch it whenever I want.

Will you write a review when you see it all?

@lovebuglena A friend may invite me over to watch it tomorrow. she has it on Disney + (I believe). If not, it's on my list to see later.

I saw it and loved it but it was years after it premiered. I wish I had seen it when it originally premiered as the original cast was the best from what I heard.

I LOVED Hamilton . . . and I can't stop singing (trying to - it's hard!) some of those songs. I would love to see the real thing on stage someday - but for now, thanks Disney+!

I saw Hamilton for $199 + fees when a new batch of tickets came out. But people were still reselling tickets for ridiculous prices. I would see the film version but I am not going to subscribe to Disney+ as I will not watch stuff on there.

I would never pay $500 to see it either. That is good you enjoyed it.
