July 5 - What I'm Thankful for Today

It's been a very hot day here.
I'm thankful for ceiling fans. Tomorrow I'm having maintenance come and take the cover off my A/C. I can't deal with this heat too much longer. I want snowflakes NOW.
I'm thankful I got my bathroom sink draining decently. I went to Wal-Mart yesterday and got Draino and now it's working better. I called the office and someone was supposed to come out, but the office closed early on Thursday and no one made it over. We'll see what happens tomorrow.
I'm thankful for church this morning. It was a very good service. We're back to one service and feels more normal than it has been. I love that I don't need to watch online, but I'm glad it's available.
I'm thankful I got a nap today. More a power nap, but it felt good as I got under 5 hours of sleep last night due to the fireworks that were non-ending until after midnight.
I'm thankful I got all my fitness goals met today.
I'm thankful for a Writer's Series I'm listening to via Zoom. The authors being interviewed is amazing. The session just got over with a few minutes ago. Today was a Pulitzer Prize-winning author for his book on Frederick Douglass. I believe it was David Blight.
Okay, it's been too hot to be on the computer for very long today, so I wasn't here too much. I'll try to get caught up, but until this weather breaks and I see snowflakes, I don't see me here very much. I didn't write today either. Too hot to think. Hopefully, when I get the A/C turned on, I can be here a bit more. So please, don't think I'm ignoring you or are angry with you. I'm simply too hot.

I am thankful that in two days, the house I live in, the home inspectors will be seeing a nice clean home.

@Deepizzaguy That's good you always keep it in good condition so they didn't need to come.
I don't know if I'm going to get my inspection because of the virus.

@just4him Funny thing is that the day the housing inspectors were supposed to come, it rained. Since they have inspected the home before and they found it to be all right, they decided not to come on Tuesday.

We has our AC cleaned last week. I always schedule it in the morning so the weather is not too hot yet.

I am thankful for the AC working good (and I know the heat pump is glad that since April it wasn't being switched from heating to cool and back sometimes twice in a day as it stays on cool now til probably late October) Hope they can get to you early tomorrow and remove the ac cover so that you can be cool.

Sorry about the heat, even though it is hot here I definitely don't want snowflakes! But we have our A/C currently on. That'll be good if you can get yours uncovered tomorrow. The rest of your day sounds like it was good, which is always nice to hear.

I got the A/C on Monday morning finally and then it was good. I can't leave it on for too long or it gets really cold in here.
