Rainy Tuesday Rambles.

We got up and went to the dump this morning. Finally got rid of the couch that's been in the back yard since before Chris and I met.
Then we drove up and saw MIL, the kids are up at her house while we gear up for this roofing job we are getting ready to tackle (if it ever stops raining), then to the hardware store about thirty miles away to pick up the materials for the roofing job.
As soon as we got home the bottom fell out and it started raining.
I made grilled cheese and bacon sandwiches for lunch.
The other half is missing with his Traxxas RC car (for those of you who aren't aware, it's a RC car that goes about 80 miles per hour) and I am getting a package ready to go in the mail.
That is the excitement of our day. If the rain lets off we are going to do fireworks with the kids after dark.

Hot here and dry. I got busy with a crafty project and did not mow. I will have to do it later. I am too hot now and need to cool down for a bit.

Did chores early, we're having record heat here all week, ugh. I would love to have some rain. It would have to be a thunderstorm. I see some clouds out there, maybe there's a chance, but I sue don't count on it.

Its a usual Tuesday , no surprise things happened.
Once I hear a quote "no news is a good news" So I guess thats me right now
