Was I Still Asleep?

When I first get up, I feed Daisy first, then make my coffee. Well, I must have still been half asleep because when I went to pour my first cup of coffee, it was hot water. I forgot to add the coffee . I don't think that has ever happened to me before.
I went to the dentist yesterday and began the process of getting a top denture. Hopefully the process will be over in a month or so. I had the impressions done and that stuff is awful. I had to concentrate so I wouldn't gag. I have a very small mouth and it took them a while to find the right size plastic thing to put the plaster (not sure if that's what it's called ) in. I can't wait to get my smile back.

I get our coffee pot ready in the evenings, and my husband has gone to pour coffee and gotten hot water, even worse, he has gone to pour coffee and there was no water in the machine.
I hope that the denture process isn't too hard and goes relatively quickly.

I hope it won't take too long to get your smile back. I went through that process. My dentures are so tiny you can't see them when I smile. They're also of no value to me for eating so they stay in the cup. I only wear them for important pictures, like the photo on the back cover of my books.
I hope you have a lovely smile when you get yours.

@wolfgirl569 Was it hard for you to see yourself for the first time without teeth?

@simone10 Your gums do toughen up. Plus I was missing teeth before anyways. So those areas were already getting tougher

Good Morning! I have done silly things like that in the past when I've just woken up. I can't tell you how many times I've put things in the fridge that don't belong in there. Once I put milk in the cupboard and the cereal in the fridge! I am so glad I caught my mistake in time.
Eek! I never did like anyone messing with my mouth. I would have had problems trying not to gag as well. *fingers crossed* that you will get them within the month.

Haha, well I think I've not put the coffee in before. I've done pretty much everything like that I could.
You're brave going ahead with the denture thing. I'm going to need them at some point. I've got so much health stuff to catch up with when pandemic danger passes. I know safety measures are being taken, but I'm high risk and probably overly cautious. I'm just not going anywhere.
I know the denture thing is painful, but everyone I know who got them was very glad after it was all done.

I remember one morning I put on a pot of coffee, then poured myself a bowl of cereal. I then poured the milk and a cup of coffee. Only problem was, I poured the coffee in the cereal bowl and poured the milk in my coffee mug. I sure was in a confused state of mind that morning! lol

@moffittjc Sometimes it just hard to open your eyes when you are exhausted.

@simone10 It probably would have helped if I would have opened my eyes when I was doing it! haha

@simone10 Yep! I'd say you were tired. My dad has done that a few times. And I know I've nearly done the putting orange juice in my cereal bowl before when tired.
Wishing you all the very best with your teeth.

@VivaLaDani13 I'm sure you are probably right. Some people can eat the weirdest things.

@simone10 Oh it surely would taste so grotty! Though I bet you there is at least one person out there who probably likes it.

I have found myself early in the morning staring at the coffee pot trying to remember what I was doing.
