Happy Friday, this week has gone by in a flash and the weekend is upon us once again. I woke up quite early again this morning (4:15 Am) tossing and turning, but as soon as SIL left for work at 5:30 I got out of bed as I was hurting and that is a sign for me to get up. It was nice and cool, so after it got light outside, I grabbed my coffee and sat on the deck for a while listening to music on my phone. I can't wait until my battery for the laptop gets here so I can myLot on the deck, at least early in the morning. The high is going to be about 86 F with light rain off and on during the day, so far no rain though which is ok with me. It rained enough last night. Last night's dinner was my daughter's version of what she calls stir fry, not like the stir fry everyone knows but a mish-mash throw together as my Mom would call it, never the less it is very delicious. We make it by sauteing a mixture of 1 green pepper, 1 red pepper and 1 onion (thinly sliced) in garlic butter, then we put in 3 packs of sliced smoked sausage and cook until heated through. Turn off the heat and add 3 bags of steamed red potatoes in garlic sauce and 2 bags of steamed broccoli (done in the microwave). It is so easy, but very good and we all like it. And since I used paper plates it was a fairly easy clean up too, easy peasy. I am actually a little hungry, so I will toast me a slice of sour dough bread and spread on some raspberry jam. Then I have to get going on my notifications and reading your discussions, so have a great day, evening or night! Pic is mine
