Good Morning to you,
I did alright with sleep last night. I didn’t get to sleep till about 2 am but I slept till 8:15 am. I only woke up once to go to the bathroom and fell right back to sleep. That was a solid 6 hours of sleep and for me that is pretty good. I did wake up with some aches and pains in the body but hoping with some moving around that will work out.
Yesterday evening/night we had some pretty good storms roll through here. They lasted from just before 8 pm till about midnight. A lot of lightning and it knocked the power out but only for about 5 minutes. I’m glad it was only for as short period other wise it would have got to hot in here. I do have two little generators, but they are not enough to keep the A/C running. I use one that can run the fridge and a small fan for about 12 hours. Then I have the other that I use for lights and another fan. They can not run the A/C so it would get warm quick, at least the power came back on right away and I didn’t have to worry about that.
I have no plans for the day really, I need to get the wind shield wipers on today since I didn’t do it last night knowing the rain was on the way. Other than that, it’s going to be another day of doing a whole lot of nothing.
Hope you all have a good day

We're experiencing it here too. Once there's a big bang coming from the lightning, the power trips off for several minutes.

@Bensen32 I don't know why it did happen.

Having a power outage when it's so hot would be horrible. Glad it came back on quickly. That's my biggest fear during the summer is a power outage. I don't have a backup generator for anything.

@Bensen32 that sounds like something I could use. Thanks for the suggestion.

My day will be a good day of the same routine I´ve had for over 3 months. Nothing much. A technician for the TV will provide the emotion. After he goes away I will wash all my clothes and will shower after he leaves. Then I´ll clean up my room with one of those wet sheets with chlorine.
