Is America Great Part Two

I wrote a post a while back again asking if America was a great country anymore. I wondered and asked and many of you commented. I am Proud to be American and I was honored to serve my country when I did. I listen to some in the media and different talk shows still saying that our country is the greatest country in the world, and I wonder why they think that. This year I think our country has become more of a joke around the world than anything. Hell, I can’t help but laugh at some of the completely moronic things that are going on here, I can only assume the rest of the world is laughing too. These thoughts reminded me about this video clip. The show was called The Newsroom. The show was on from 2012 to 2014 and originally aired on HBO. Take the just under 5 minutes and look at this video. Be warned there is some strong language, but I think it is worth a watch. Not sure the numbers he gives are exactly right even for that time, but the point is right on. Let me know what you think about it. Was he right? Does this still hold truth now?
