A New Car

My brother is so excited. He got his car yesterday. It's a 2020...I know, he said he didn't want a new car but this car "spoke" to him...lol. He is so happy and it's beautiful. The picture above doesn't do it justice. I can't wait to take a mini trip in it. I am so happy for him and proud for him. Goodness, it's a hot and humid start to the day. Today and tomorrow we will have temps in the high 90s(F) with the heat index up to 104 degrees (F). When its this hot, our air conditioner in our apartment can't seem to keep up and it gets hot. We have to keep fans going to feel comfortable. Our air conditioner is just a year old. I started back to using my laptop to mylot today instead of my tablet. I can type so much faster. With my tablet, I was having to use one finger to type. I'm a happy camper now

. I hope everyone is able to stay cool this weekend. Stay inside if you can and if you are going out, stay safe.

Nice looking car. I'm glad he's happy with it. We have a heat advisory today too up to 105. I won't be going anywhere.

I love your brothers new wheels!! I wish him lots of happiness driving such a sweet ride. It's a scorcher here today so I'm staying put. I can never type well on my Kindle so I usually sit at my desktop to myLot. It's faster but it's hard to sit here for long lengths of time.

Thanks! It really looks so much better in person. I agree with you about it being hard to sit for long. I have to get up and walk around from time to time. Eventually my feet will really start hurting and I will have to stop for the day.

Thanks, Dianne! I agree, I love that new car smell! I think they have air fresheners that are supposed to smell like a new car but I've never tried it. Once the smell is gone, we may have to check into it.

@simone10 I never heard of those. Sounds like a good idea! The SUV we bought last July still smells new. I don"t think it will go away, because we don't go anywhere.

Thanks! Oh, not me! I'm not a fan of the freezing weather, but I am looking forward to cooler temps. Fortunately, I don't have to drive in the snow so it doesn't bother me.

Congrats to him! That will also come in handy when you guys move. It's better to get a new car whenever possible. It sure is pretty.

Thanks! Yes, it's best to do it that way. I think once things start happening to it, it's best to trade it in. With his job, he will always need a dependable car.

My brother is very proud. He has had one other new car since I've lived with him, and he is more excited over this car than the other one. I'm with you on the heat. I'm not a winter person, but I am ready for it now.
