... for I have sinned. It has been over a month since I last posted a discussion.
I have spent a lot of that time being extremely covetous of my neighbours house. Well actually any house that isn't just an empty shell. At least it's not an ox so I'm not breaking any commandments.
I've also spent a lot of time travelling back and forth between my temporary accommodation and my empty shell ensuring my cats are fed and watered. Apparently they don't bloom unless you water them.
Slowly but surely my house is being put back together. By the end of the coming week there should be a kitchen and at some point during the week after there should be a bathroom. I can't wait. I'm bursting for a wee.
With all of the major decisions made I'm hopeful I'll be able to resume my second favourite hobby of bothering you lot on a semi-regular basis. As for my favourite hobby, that will have to wait until social distancing is over and the vicar's hernia has been repaired.
And by the way, it is an actual house I'm talking about here. It isn't some thinly-veiled metaphor for my desperately sad life. Honest!!

@LadyDuck One of our cats is quite sociable but the other one is very wary of people so you probably wouldn't have seen much of him. We got him at 12 weeks old and he hadn't been handled by people very much. He has his moments but generally he avoids people.

A lot of people here have been wondering what happened to you, so it's good you checked in to let us know you were okay. What is going on with your house? Are you renovating? Rebuilding? Moving to a new place?

@WorDazza Wow, sounds like you went all in. Hope it turns out very nice once it is all finished.

@moffittjc Cheers. I'm hoping it will all come together OK. It's difficult to visualise what things are going to look like until they're all finished. And then it's too late to change them.

@WorDazza Looks like you've been very busy. I had to see to major modifications to my brother's house (which he had bought before moving back here from America) a few years ago, so i know something of what you are going through! I hope that the builders are behaving themselves and keeping to schedule (that'd be a turn up for the book, any road!)!

I am a bigger sinner than you because I post even less than this.

Yes cats do need watered. Dogs too and they drink a lot.

@wolfgirl569 I'm not too keen on the scent of those particular flowers.

Your title drew me in as I know that prayer or mantra or whatever it's called well even though I've not spoken it for well over 40 years now.
It sounds like an exciting time watching your little house grow along with the cats.

@DianneN Yeah, my brother-in-law has been an absolute star.
The house is still looking bare. The plasterer has just finished and the kitchen is going in this week. Hopefully the bathroom will go in next week which just leaves the electrician to finish off.
Fingers crossed.it all goes to plan.

Cheers.
I did see one of the discussions enquiring about me so I thought I'd drop by to explain my absence.
I may not be around too much over the next few weeks until the house is finished but at least everyone knows that a disaster hasn't occurred.
