I hadn´t had pasta with pesto for a long time. I found the frozen pesto in the freezer and decided to have a dish of pasta. Delicious!
I have had all sorts of good food today. So I suppose tomorrow I´ll continue with a normal diet.
I make pesto with basil every summer and freeze it in the deep freezer. This year, the pesto got lost behind sime meat. Fortunately I found it today. If I wake up in a cooking mood I will make minestrone.
What are you having for dinner?

Pesto is a paste made with crushed basol leaves, olive oil and garlic. There are other optative ingredients.

You boil some pasta of your liking, add pesto and grated Parmesan cheese. It is easy and delicious.

Blend basil leaves with olive oil and a clove of garlic. The rest of the ingredients are optative. I don´t even use salt if I am going to freeze it. By no means add water.

@marguicha I can’t think of anything more satisfying that a good pesto. Pasta needs nothing else to go with it. The stuff bought in supermarkets is just horrible, but home made is just ... there are no words adequate for the occasion.

I know. I have been losing everything here being without Leticia. She is a professional finder of the things I lose.

Me too. I think that the last time I ate pasta was when I made a lasagna. I saved some of it but I have not eaten it.
