Good Morning,
Just another Monday here. The temperature is not suppose to be so bad today. We'll see how it goes as the day goes on. Stomach is not feeling well this morning. No plans for the day other than clean up the kitchen and take the garbage out.
I am reading that the riots are still going strong in Portland, OR. These things need to be stopped. If your going out in the middle of the night to "protest" you are up to no good. Go out during the day to "protest". I like how some are saying well they probably have jobs during the day. Wait what so they are staying out till 3 - 4 in the morning and then go to work during the day? I don't think so.
All this is so crazy I don't even know what to say anymore. Now I hear them crying that using tear gas is a war crime. Umm, so are we at war? Because, then start sending some rounds into these crowds bet they would go home then. I mean I get it, I don't want someone using tear gas on me either. You know what I do? I stay home and don't go rioting in the streets in the middle of the night. I can't tell you the last time I got tear gassed in my own home.

There is a big difference between rioting and our rights to peacefully protest. These nightly riots are nothing short of criminal behavior, and it is the duty of law enforcement to stop the criminal behavior.

@Bensen32 People are crying that the rioters' constitutional rights are being violated. I'm sorry, you do not have the constitutional right to vandalize, damage and destroy public and private property. If people would just stop for a second and take a deep breath, maybe they could see that there is a difference between a constitutional right to protest and the criminal behavior of rioting.

I don't agree with the rioters and never did. The peaceful demonstrators- yes I definitely agree with what they were / may still be doing. These people going out at night and staying out all night are not doing so in honor of anyone. I don't agree with the teargas / military force either though.

I'm all for peaceful protests but that is not what is going on with this and you have to answer with force. Unfortunately, you can't jsut ask them to leave they wont listen, they wont even leave when you tear gas them. We can't just sit back and let them turn our cities into burned out, graffiti filled Sh.. holes. At least that is not the America I want to live in, where we let mobs of people be the law.
These people have a choice in how they are being dealt with. You don't want to get tear gassed or shot with rubber bullets, than stay home and that wont happen.
