How my streaming is going

So some of you might remember that I mentioned that I have been streaming game play to twitch over the last few months and I just wanted to pat myself on the back a little. So I started in March when this whole virus lockdown happened. I did it on the suggestion of my son to help fight the boredom of being home all the time. I really didn't think it would turn into anything at all and figured maybe a few people now and then would maybe watch. Well on the 7th of July I was invited to the Affiliate program which mean I have the ability to earn off the streams now. I had hit the minimums at that time of 50 followers and an average of 3 viewers a day over the last 30 days. Over the last two weeks I have gotten that up to 86 followers and my average views are now up to 4.1. So far I have only earned 22 cents but I guess you have to start somewhere. I'm still learning the ins and outs of it and how to earn more but not to bad from what I thought it was going to be. I never thought I would even get to the affiliate rank.

That is really kind of awesome. Maybe once you get 500 or so followers, you can see about playing the game / games with other twitch users and get more of a following that way. I think that's a lot of how people get so many followers.

@Bensen32 Well I hope you have fun with it. I used to watch video game streamers all the time, and it seems eventually they all start getting burnt out.

That is exactly how it works, you have to network with other streamers or it seems like you will get no where.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Oh I am sure, it is a lot of time put into it if you want to grow big and playing the same game or games day after day.

That's the advantage of kids, they're really into this stuff. Keep on keeping on especially if you enjoy it.
