Even in the escalator, social distancing is observed that you can get in hot water if you do not respect the markings for the guide. It seems that this will be the so called new normal that people cannot be together like before.

Oh well, there's no helping it. It's worrying that the number of covid new cases is still rising around the world.

@Alexandoy More or less the same here. Yellow foot markings in train stations, supermarkets, public administrative offices.

that step marking on an escalator is indeed a good initiative to maintain social distancing. Hope people follow it religiously.

Here you can be arrested with a violation of the distancing. One big supermarket was closed for 1 week due to such violation.

If the escalator is not moving then you probably have to jump on the markings only. If you step on the surface with no markings then you can be arrested, waheehee, joke.

The admin of the building has done it good but inside the elevator there are no guide marks.

That was smart of them to paint the feet on the escalator to give people a visual cue of where to stand. Hopefully, people follow the guide and stand at the appropriate distances.

@Alexandoy It's kind of sad that people are so dumb or clueless that they can't figure out how to appropriately distance themselves from others without some kind of visual cue on the ground to remind them.

Yes, we have also like that here, and practicing such protocol of the escalator, not bad for the escalator, no heavy one will ride.
