Three butter would not melt models!

The other day we went to our local lavender farm which is quite pretty as the lavender is all in full bloom now. You are able to walk in between the row after row of lavender and the smell is absolutely wonderful.
As from Monday it will be time to cut the lavender so we are going back on Sunday to have a walk again and to take a picnic with us. We are looking forward to it and hopefully the weather will be kind to us again. Tomorrow it is forecast rain but Sunday it is supposed to be a nice day again!
The photo is of my daughter and the three children Devil child is giving me the look just get on with it and get it over! I think it is a beautiful photo but then I guess I have a certain amount of bias to it.

It is particularly stunning to look at all the lavender shimmering in the sunshine. I know I am bias DianneN but they really are very well behaved and polite kids. I am proud how my daughter is bringing them up!

@DianneN Yes I do DianneN every day practically! They are the most important thing to me. Funny enough Devil child waves at me like a crazy banshee when We skype speak every day. She is a right tease!

Hahaha you are right she will not smile when she is asked to. Then when you finish taking the photo she is beaming! Little so and so! I find her quite amusing!

They are a beautiful family Gary.
We have a lavender farm outside of the city that we live in, I don't know when they harvest, I doubt that we will make it out there this year. Its a busy place as so many people think that its a quiet place to visit during the pandemic, but it is not.

I did not see anything regarding reservations at the website for the lavender farm up here.

@Juliaacv OH right. Yes I think they will only let 60 people in at a time and you have a two hour slot just enough time to walk through the fields and get back to the picnic area. Whether you have the picnic or not us up to you but if it takes longer we know of many other places in the countryside we can visit or near to a stream or river. They are very strict about timing so no ticket no entry which is great! They have even set up a drive through shop as you leave so you can buy lavender plants and products.

They have restricted visitors thankfully and you have to book in advance. As for the picnic they have clearly marked out spots and you are given a spot well away from others so it should be quite safe. It is pretty rural so there are not crowds and crowds thankfully otherwise we would not go.
