How did it get to be Friday again?
As you know, I have been cutting down on the hours I spend here. I've been working on some jigsaw puzzles; and now that those are done I'm going to be doing some adult coloring. I sent an email to the company that sold me the puzzles (since some pieces were missing). We'll see if they answer.
The landscapers came and cleared out around the house so that the painters can paint next month. I had them pull all the weeds in the front flower beds. What is left are a few spindly plants and a lot of dirt. We may have them come back next year and plant some new plants.
We spent some time today watching some webcams from the Florida Keys. Made me so nostalgic. I'm so disappointed that the virus is going to keep us from going down there. The people we saw were mostly wearing masks now. There are a lot of things still closed down there though.
Well, nothing else going on. Our little housekeeper had surgery and won't be coming here for 1-2 months. I hope she gets better soon.
What have you been up to?
Stay safe and healthy; and I will see you again on Saturday. Caught up with the Notifications and will try and catch up with the Discussions before I sign off today.

We have a lot of projects coming up. Aside from the other house, we need to get an electrician and a plumber in here.

I think we will be seeing a lot of places going back to lockdown or halting any additional openings. It's bad and Florida is one of the states with the higher number of viruses popping up still. You will be better not chancing it!
I'm just piddling around the house today. Rain is on and off from Hurricane Hannah so no playing outside because it is now wet after the dumping we got this morning. More to come. Got hubby off to doctor this morning so it has been a quiet day! I just had to go mail a priority envelope in town and that is the extent of my thrilling day!

@LindaOHio I'll check out the webcam suggestion. And I understand about not wanting to spend so much time here and then feel unproductive afterward. I hope you can find a happy compromise that allows you to spend at least a little bit of time here.

Awwww, thanks. I just got tired of spending so many hours here and then not feel like doing anything after I got off. I was spending 6-8 hours a day on here. BTW, I have a new webcam for you. Try Robbie's down in Islamorada. If it's not raining, you can see the people on the dock feeding the tarpon. They hang around by the dozens. Have a great Sunday.

@LindaOHio Well, you can always do them again and again... You can try bigger puzzles. The highest I have is 1000 pieces. I wanna get a few puzzles with more pieces. But I only have Thomas Kinkade puzzles and don't remember seeing anything with his paintings in a bigger size than that.

We're hoping to be able to afford the landscapers to come back next year and plant some shrubbery, etc. and some butterfly bushes!

Time do time flies fast, either because you're not thinking about it or you're busy.
Infected people here in El Paso has been on the rise, which makes things scarier. Thank God, no Karens, Darens or Kevins here so far unlike in other states or other countries too. Terrible.
Rain visited us for the 2nd time this week, I think last night was a little bit heavier because the soil is still damp compared to the 1st one where we had pea sized hail with rain which lasted for about 3-5 minutes, straight.
While the 2nd batch of laundry is in the washer, I'm doing MyLot :-)
After lunch, off to grocery shopping.
Will go back to my online Psych tutorial.
Make SEAFOOD BOUILLABAISSE for dinner. Daughter has been craving seafood lately and so instead of going to a pricey seafood place, scary thought to be in a restaurant now, I decided to make this for dinner.
Generous servings for the 3 of us (hubby, daughter and myself) :-)

@LindaOHio When we went to Key West we came down 98 from Panama City, then went to Homestead and then down US 1 to Key West. I loved the scenery, I miss Florida so much.

I shopped for groceries this morning then had dinner out with a friend. I also started a small argument by starting a discussion titled Goals!! Heh heh. What chores aren't getting done? I didn't mean to kick anyone or have anyone kick me back. Maybe we'll still get things done.

We also watch movies online every day. The outside environment is very tense right now. Everyone is walking around wearing masks everywhere. The crowd is very low.
