Summer heat in Kansas is nothing new. Once the grass dries a bit I shall go mow. I did at least twice yesterday. I have a lot to catch up with. In the middle of the day we had light rain for about five minutes. It was not enough to do any good, so I watered everything.
Today I have already taken a short walk. I have had breakfast and coffee. I got seat cushions out of the shed to put on my swing.
There is a batch of sourdough bread stirred up and sitting on the counter to rise.
Yesterday I cashed out at two of my survey sites.
Hope to do two more this week.
Until I start drawing school paychecks again money is tight here. But we have food, including tomatoes and peppers. I am thankful.

Yes, it is and I try not to gripe too much because winter will come and we will complain about that.

Yes this is an adult swing with cushions to sit and relax on. I am having trouble logging in again, too. My websites do not bring in a lot of money, but something is better than nothing.

Glad you have food. Hope that you get some more mowing done. I need to here but not sure today I will get it done. Neither Mike or I have been sleeping well. His dad is close to passing and we have been busier going over there. It's a heartbreaking time. Pray for us. Thank you.
