Well we got into the mid-80s yesterday (thermometer in the video is in the direct sunlight so it is always 5-8 degrees warmer than the actual air temperature.)
Then...
The outer bands of the Hurricane that cannot be pronounced hit the DC area around 5 pm.
we dropped 20 degrees quickly.
oh yeah and 1.5 inches (just over 4cm) of rainfall yesterday. We've had another since already today!

you can have some of ours 2 plus inches from the hurricane so far.

@rebelann i complained about no rain for 20 days. We've had five straight days with rain. I am going to stop complaining.

I have been busy scratching my head, until it is now raw, about why you give a daily weather report here.
It's interesting to me though, as to why psychologically speaking, why do people talk about the weather, so much?
I might posit that the weather is a forecast of our own inner self in a way, and the way that we speak about it, complaining, accepting, or enjoying, so perhaps we should be more be careful about how we talk about the weather, for it reveals more than just the weather forecast to others too.
