Two of the latest persons infected with Covid19 are acquaintances

Our reported cases in the city keep on increasing. This is since the arrival of returning individuals from other places and people working abroad. Two of the latest person got infected are known to me. I hope and pray they will survive. Did you know someone tested positive of the virus?

My churchmate and his cousin got infected but they are now okay. They were cleared.

Good that they're able to recover fast. This is challenging as we our not sure how our body handles it.

I guess there will be people you know that will be affected. My first is my sister in NY. She is a nurse there in one of the hospital and she got it early on and she was lucky to have recovered from it that she is back to her work after a couple of weeks recuperating. Another one I know is the husband of my batchmate in college. He is also a medical worker in UK and was not lucky to have survived it. He passed away about a couple of months ago. I hear a lot of sad and happy stories about it.

@ZedSmart Yeah it is indeed saddening to hear news like that especially if persons you know to have it. I am just happy for my sister which survive it. She and his husband did get sick for couple of weeks and they both recovered from it.

Not anybody close to me so far. I thank God for that. It is painful to know that one of your close friends or relatives is affected by this infection.

No, I didn't know someone who is Covid positive here. I hope your acquaintances can recover from this illness. Let's hope for that.

That is appreciated. The other one is confined at the hospital and the other one is in the isolation facility as she is asymptomatic.

My mother thinks she had it back in Jan. And my cousin might have it too back in Jan. Our county has over 3000 cases and 41 deaths.

Ours here with a population of more than 300K, the recorded so far is 65 and only two deaths so far.

@ZedSmart In Melbourne, they are battling to contain the spread but in our state there are very few instances. It must be increasingly worrying to not know what will happen next.

That is good to know Ms. Judy. Here in our city, I don't know what will happen next since the numbers are increasing and I think that there would be more and that maybe a reason that we may put into a lock down again.

That is good that she's OK now. Yes, I think that one has able to recover if he or she has no other diseases that can be triggered.
