Happy Thursday to us all, fellow mylotters! How is everybody? I was not able to come to this site last Monday because I had a very important task to do, and I did it in just one day. Last week, I and my son went to NSO for my birth certificate. Last Monday too, we finished one government agency with the processing of my retirement benefits. I did not want to go back if I have ample time to do it, so I and my son were out of the house from 9AM to 1PM. Goal partly achieved. PAG-IBIG benefits documents submitted, and I was already given the slip to show should they send me a text message that my cheque will be picked up. In a month, I will receive my retirement money; it is not much, since I was self-employed and there was no employer counterpart. next, my SSS documents for submission.

I had a lot of followups too in government agencies this week and last week. It just is annying that every time you visit them you are required to submit the health declaration form and get your temperature checked. But I guess that is fine since that everyone is quite vigilant about the virus.

@ridingbet Well if you lock up people who get their daily wage to live you cannot stop them to find ways to earn something. This government has made it harder for many to cope with the hardship they imposed on many poor people.

@rsa101 i agree. i think our government should give the people something to let them for their living. how about stretching their policy for the trike drivers, because these men live on a day to day existence.

I did not pay my PhilHealth contribution. They need to clear first the issue.

for me, kabsat, when i had my 2nd confinement last 2016, my son reopened my PhilHealth, but now, i have not paid my premium for 4 years, and i am not so worried about the agency with those alleged stealing money from its members. until when will graft and corruption be fixed when our president is blinded?

yes, that is why i can safely say, i can enjoy my own 'lock down' at home without getting stressed that i might pick the virus up when i am out of the house.

indeed, and even if the country and the whole world is stricken with the virus, there are still some things needed to be done while forcing ourselves out at home to do the job.
