It sadly ended in an error by me (i didn't stake down the cable properly and the mower cut it)!!!! The mower is called Mowrow and it is an automated lawnmower. It returns to its base when its battery is low. Or if it starts to rain. Fun!!! would you use a robot mower at your house?

That's pretty cool. So does it just mow in random patterns, or does it mark out the GPS coordinates of your yard and then mow in straight rows?

so it follows the guide path as the out edge and then mows the rest back and forth via GPS!

I sold mine, I had the feeling he did not do a great job and it only worked on FLAT (very flat) land.

@DocAndersen "SMALL" hills is the keyword... here in Switzerland most garden are pretty steep. I sold mine to a neighbor, he has a flat lawn in front of his house. I use my gas push mower for my garden, it does an excellent job.

yes the newer ones have stronger motors so they can do small hills...

@LadyDuck the new ones can actually do a 40% slope, and they are much less impact on the environment than a single stoke lawn mower engine!

@DocAndersen You move just by holding it? Do you hold it in the water?

There is a lot of interesting things. My new favorite is the new Bixby. A handheld propulsion device for being in the water. you hold it, and you move in the water around 2 mph!

@simone10 you hold it in the water, and it propels you up to 2 mph for about a 1/2 hour

@DocAndersen Naughty vacuum! I hope the repair goes smoothly. Will you use solder and electrical tape? I don't think I've ever repaired an electrical cable. Only speaker wires.

@TheHorse this is literally just like speaker wire. But they give you a patch kit so I will use that!

You placed your steak in the wrong spot, and the hungry mower ate it (the cable) up quickly, eh? It was probably hungry after its exercise, looking for its label.

@DocAndersen Ha, ha, it was the use of your word, stake, that made me throw my own stake into the mix too, and place my own steak on your barby to make my stake.(barbecue). It was too juicy an invitation not to stake a claim on your steak. Or was this all a misteak of a mistake. Groan, groan, bad dad jokes again.

The back yard is full of little holes and nuts and small branches. It wouldn't work out for us. Our neighbor's son mows our lawn once a week and sends us a bill once a month. It works for us.
