Good afternoon! We’ve been installing a new mailbox (okay, my brother did the work and I “supervised” ). Before I take my leave of this fine town (ha) for the greener pastures of a Putt Putt course I’ll present another fine song (that’s the truth) from the year 1980. You probably hear this song on the radio and might not know it’s 40 years old! De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da - The Police INTERVIEWER: How did you come up the the band’s name? ANDY SUMMERS: We saw it on the side of a car. While hardly “punk,” the Police came out of that era with a wonderful, fresh sound. Two Brits and an American (drummer Stewart Copeland) gave the world just five albums, but man, what a legacy! This is one of the hits from their “breakthrough” album in 1980. By the time I saw them on the Ghost in the Machine tour they were megastars. (A Flock of Seagulls opened for them on that tour...ooh, what a good show!) Then by the next album they were breaking up, professionally and personally (Sting’s divorce the subject of many of the songs). But man, what a legacy!! Enjoy this again. De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da Written by Sting Recorded by The Police From Zenyatta Mondatta, 1980 Poets, priests, and politicians:
"O último capítulo de um livro, não significa a última página de uma história."

Do we do or do we da... Or do we "Do Wah Diddy Diddy." Very catchy song with a title to match! Manfred Mann would be proud
