A Long Island dog owner is raising money for abused dogs

I admire the way that Long Island resident Alexander Pekoff who is 23 years of age is following his passion of running 600 miles from Niagara Falls to Montauk Point New York to raise money for a charity called Adopt A Boxer Rescue. Alexander adopted his dog Lucas at an Adopt A Boxer Rescue shelter in Scranton Pennsylvania a few years ago. Lucas has three legs at birth. Alexander is now taking on this huge task to raise awareness of Boxer dogs who are in need of a good home. Alexander is getting donations from well wishers through the GoFundMe.com site. His goal is to raise $11,000 dollars for the dog charity.
