August 11 - What I'm Thankful for Today

It was a different kind of laundry day today. I'm thankful it doesn't happen often. I'm also thankful the hornet nest will be gone when I return next Monday.
I'm thankful I found a nice health food store where the prices are comparable. I even have a coupon for $10 in my bag. I'll hold onto that for my next trip there. Most likely next month.
I'm thankful for a nice cool morning. Temps are going up, but it was nice to take a walk while it was still cool.
I'm thankful I have the notifications finished and visited with you today. I'm thankful for all my friends here.
I'm thankful I have all my fitness goals met, steps anyway. I'll have the hourly steps completed in another hour.
I'm thankful that when I stepped on the scale this morning I was back at my low of 183. Now to lose more.
Okay, that's the snapshot of my day. What are you thankful for? It's time for this hours steps and then I'm going to work on Vendetta. Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

It is always inspiring to see all the things you are thankful for. Today I am thankful for the gift of rest, as I've been working super long hours the past several days and I was just wore out today. I'm also thankful that my health is holding up well despite the stresses I endure at work.

@just4him This is one of those areas where I struggle in my faith. I am casting all my cares upon the Lord, and as a result I should not stress and worry, but yet I still do. That shows my faith is lacking, and I pray about it routinely. I ask God to strengthen my faith, and help me not to worry and stress so much. I am slowly getting better with God's help, but I fell horrible that I struggle to have complete faith in the almighty God to handle my problems

@moffittjc Many years ago someone gave a great analogy during prayer time at church. He said picture your cares as a balloon tied to a string. Let go of the string and watch the balloon, your cares leave. You can't get the balloon back, don't try to take the cares back. Give them to Jesus and let Him handle it.
That really helped me. I still fail and want to take them back. You're not alone.

Sounds like a good day there, minus the bee/hornets ordeal!
