An actor I fell in love with but he is gay

Richard Chamberlain has got to be the most romantic and handsome actor when he starred in The Thorn Birds! That miniseries just crushes the heart! I better not tell any of the plot in case you haven't seen it. The video below gives highlights. I was a young teen when I first saw it. You know how young girls can be, I thought, I love him, I want to marry him. Then later I read in a celebrity magazine that he the actor is gay. What a good actor he was in this.
