I understand people are different and as such, our sources of motivation are also different, while some people find joy each time they are connected to mylot and makings comments, some are motivated by friends and family, share your experience.

Being active keeps me motivated. Riding a bike, taking a walk, doing yoga are things I do. Staying in good health gives me a positive attitude.

My current motivation is just to just hold on for this tough time, am sure if we combat another 6 months and keep our will power high, things will be better from there on.

At this moment, the two things that keep me going are my faith in God and help from my husband.

Motivation, and the need for motivation, seems unnecessary, and overrated to me. What is motivation, and do we really ever need it? Motivation seems to be something from outside, rather than we maintaining an ongoing motor, never needing motivation, as it runs on max, all of the time. We should need no motivation to love, for example. The artificialness of any outer motivation always steers you away from your true mission, because when you are on a train, looking out of a window, you should not need motivation to do that, because in your living from your mission to live purposely as you, this should be naturally living in the moment of yourself, rather than your motivating yourself to go into this moment, from some external force, internal mind-trick, or any other stimulus besides. Why do we need carrots to motivate ourselves with, at all? Staying in the moment requires no motivation, and all is well when you can do this, as all proceeds to plan then, perfectly so.
