It’s Our Special Weekend

Our anniversary is Sunday. We used to travel the world to celebrate it. Due to terrorism and now Covid, we have cooled our travels.
The photo shows us at a glacier in Norway 6 years ago as we toured the country.
This year, our two sons wanted to send us to our favorite inn and spa for a week, but of course that’s out.
So hubs and I will enjoy a special meal made by our son and his girlfriend on Sunday. Details not worked out, yet.
In the meantime, I feel happy spending Friday date night with the love of my life and so relieved that I have completed all my notifications. Life is good again.

@Alexandoy The mornings were chilly, but we were there in August, so it warmed up during the day. I do remember wearing a coat in Oslo in the evening - and a scarf!

Our anniverssary was on August 17th. I still remember it after being a widow for over 20 years. My husband, too, was the love of my life.

@HannahKusKus No, I'm not, but we have cut back on our meat eating. My son and his girlfriend are vegans/vegetarians. He offered to cook some shrimp or meat for us, but I told him not to taint his pots and pans. We will live.
