Pool noodles are almost like PVC pipes: there are so many “life hacks” using them it’s hard to remember what they’re actually supposed to be used for! While I don’t think I’ll see a You Tube video explaining how to make a boat out of pool noodles the way the USS PVC was constructed (yes, there is a You Tube video of someone making a PVC frame boat!), I did use my noodle with a pool noodle hack. I got a new car three months ago, and it’s a little bigger than the last car. That means the tailgate will swing up and rest on the beam in the garage. Enter pool noodle. I taped one to the beam (with duct tape, of course!). That way, the tailgate (and specifically, the rear window wiper) doesn’t hit the beam every time I open it in the garage. Maybe one day I’ll get a pool so I can use a pool noodle for its “real” purpose!!

That's a great idea as the noodle is nice and squishy too.

This is a wonderful invention, good job! That PCV pipe will definitely keep your tailgate hatch and back wiper from hitting the beam
