The Dog Is Howling: Scary!!!

There is a new dog in my neighborhood. It is a cute beagle and its cage situated in front of our house. The creepy thing is the dog is howling at night. In my country, some elders believe that it is bad luck to have this kind of dog. For me, it is another dog that will disturb the peace at night.

I don't believe in that. Perhaps it wants to eat, drink, or go out. Sometimes those breeds do howl.

I heard to one of my friends that it howls when hungry. The only problem is it disturbs our peace at night.

@Shavkat I'm sure that could be true. No one likes a howling dog while trying to get a good night's sleep. I know I would be very annoyed.

You know, I always heard it was bad luck when a dog howls. I always get scared. Heard it all my life.

Since birth, I was being educated by the elders that it is a sign of bad omen. They claimed that it can see ghosts related to the owner's life.

The poor dog is in a cage and all by himself. Dogs are pack animals and need to be with either other dogs or people. I feel so sorry for the poor thing, he's howling because he feels unloved and is lonely

I felt bad for this dog. We cannot do anything because the master is not close to us. We are trying to ignore the howling moment of this dog.

We in India have a similar belief, but I think it applies only to an unexpected howling. When the dog is caged in front of your house and howls every night, it is something expected, so nothing to worry.

I do not know if my mom can conceal her feelings about this. She cannot sleep well at night and it needs to address the root cause of this problem.

If they're in cage or leashed and wants to get out and pee or relief themselves . I'm a guy with three male dogs and they howl when they need to be set free or scared . It's possible they can see ghost but not in my experience.

One of my family members did that. The dog stopped howling for a few minutes.
