Snapped a few pics of the holly bushes for the backyard. With all the new homes, more privacy is needed along the back of the yard. There are several pines, but more needs to be planted.
Have been looking at holly trees. Did not know you could buy holly trees. We have holly bushes and shrubs all around the house, but no trees.
Found this one called a Southern Living Oakland Holly tree that just might work. They grow to about 20 feet in a few years. And they look like Christmas trees.
Of course they are evergreen, year round color. And the red berries would be great for the birds as well. This one might be the winner.

I have looked up holly trees and I was just blown away by how many I have actually seen and how common they are here, I have seen a lot of I think they are the Japanese holly trees here, they go really nice in some desert landscapes.

@CarolDM The Japanese ones are nice, but probably not for privacy haha the ones you mentioned get massive, so that will surely do it!

It's nice to see that leaves of the holly tree. As I see those leaves it reminds me of the Christmas song, The Holly and the Ivy.
Behind the song: The Holly and the Ivy is a traditional British Christmas carol. Although the song itself has very old roots, the lyrics and music we know to...

These look so special. Nature has so much to give to us. Yet we lose respect for nature at times.

This is not available in my country. That is what I know. The tree leaves are amazingly shiny.

That would be nice. I have holly bushes in the front here. They seem to have berries every other year.

I have two holly bushes and I hate them. I want them removed, but my neighbor hasn't done it yet.

@CarolDM They grow too big and I can't look outside. Now that I have Lily (my cat), she loves looking outside too. And they once scrapped the trailer.
