I hate those authorities who are asking for a bribe

Today my husband and i appeared to the office of senior police officer for the extension of my visa,they need some information and report to higher authorities, so we gave copies of my documents.One thing so peculiar now is the officer asking 2k,it's not a big deal but before he didn't ask anything,my husband ask him before you didn't ask why now?and he said i want now. I just cannot understand this corrupt officers,if he can only speak English then i should give him a good words. But in other hand,we just give what he ask so he will finished his report. Any corrupt police officer in your country?

Not yet done,waiting for next call from foreign registration office,then will wait for an email ,then pay visa online.after that they will email me my new visa. I am already 1 year here so another 1 year more then citizenship.

I see that Maluse already asked which country, I was going to ask the same. In the country where I live there are no corrupt police officers, in my native country (Italy) there are a few.

Haha yeah corrupt officials yes,but police maybe few.and now duterte is taking action on those,if you report them then action will follow,just need a proof.

Have not known any as such there must be a few around but don´t know who they are. It was very hard to get my I.D. Card renewed here can tell you that they give you the run around for it do not make it easy. Sorry they gave you so much hassle.

So in Spain i guess less haha In my country Philippines i never encountered this kind of bribing.Might be there but few.and if you report them,action will follow.

Oh my goodness, that is really bad, But on my first process he didn't ask any penny At the second time he asked 2k, I said to husband we should wear ordinary clothes so they will think we don't have money,haha

I guess it can't be help, specially if you are in anothe country. That would not be tolerated here since the President alread y increase the salary of the cops here. But that didn't stop them from doing bad things still.

He should not ask because there's no reason,i mean we are giving right papers and no violating their law. Bribe is only when you do wrong and want to jump then it's the time. Huh!what shall i say to this people,they can't be reported if almost are like that haha
