Visited Cotton The Owl Today

Our local state park is just down the road. On sunny days I will go down and visit the rescued owl named Cotton. The park rangers named her since they found her in the snow. She looked like a ball of cotton they said. I have been visiting her for almost two years now. She was found as a baby in the snow. Her wing was broken and could not be fixed. So she is at the state park now. But is very well taken care of. Snapped a photo through her cage. So cool to see them up close. Their eyes are really big. It was so good to see her. There have been many renovations going on at the park. I have not been able to visit. Made my day for sure.

The owl looked so cute. I am sad that her wing was broken and could not be fixed.

Same here. At least it will not have to worry about food, safety and shelter for the rest of its life.

That's a beautiful owl. I love watching an owl from a distance. The last time I saw an owl was when I was in Bohol, Philippines.

I like owls..as soon as it gets cool, I am going to take friend to Maymont Park. I think they have an owl there too...but last time I was there the Aviary was closed.
