Yes, my friend and I had the same thing in mind when making a no-bake cake for her birthday celebration.
The weather was melting hot that I decided to make an iced cake. I still had mangoes from the Netherlands and so I made an iced mango cake. I made it with a mixture of what I learned from the cafeteria where I worked years ago and tweaked it in a Filipino way of using a condensed milk instead of sugar.
When I arrived to the house of the celebrant, she told me that we had the same cake in mind which is with mango. She made a mango cheese cake. Both cakes were delicious that everyone devours them with gusto.
My friend and I have a lot in common that is why we became best friends. The photo is the iced mango cake that I made. I am sure this will become one of the cakes that I will make in summer.
