It’s mandated by the government, and since all my money comes from my pensions (VA and post office) I do. I would anyway. It’s so easy to not have to worry about it. Plus, I get my VA money a day early if the first of the month falls on a weekend or holiday. (The post office isn’t so generous. )

My social Security is direct deposited and so is my 401K and roth at the end of the month. My husband;s is also direct deposit. He gets all three deposits to. I am sure your eye surgery will good good on Monday take care.

I have direct deposit on my pension and it has been working fine and it very convenient.

I have my paychecks directly deposited. I've been doing it for like 20 years.

@amadeo The only thing I had set up was my social security to go into my account here in Israel. Nothing else can be direct deposited here into my account. Good luck with your eye surgery.
