I Can´t Help It

I am experimenting again.
. I wanted to make a Filipino dessert because I have grated frozen cassava or tapioca and a few frozen banana leaves given by my friend.
My first time making cassava Suman failed as I didn´t continue making it. Suman is a Filipino delicatessen made of tapioca, coconut milk and brown sugar wrapped in a wilted banana leaf. I have made the mixture more liquid than dry and the banana leaves are not enough for making them.
So what did I do? I made cassava cake from the mixture of Suman ingredients. I just added some ingredients for making this cake. Mind you, I have not made this cake for years. Now, I made it from my memory of how my mother did it.
The cassava cake is in the oven now. If it is good, I will bring this tomorrow to our Filipino bonding. If not, I have to think about something to bring. Wish me luck.

There is frozen grated cassava in an Asian store. Maybe you can get it there @DocAndersen. Thank you and have a nice day.

@DocAndersen I agree with you. Here in the Asian store, they sell fresh cassava roots but I don't buy them.

Looks good.. I bet its delicious.. I have experimented to make one to recently.. I just forget to put some caramelize sugar on top
