Great day so far

I woke up at 6 am and was thinking it was going to be a crappy day because I was freezing believe it or not 
Most days it's awful hot here but early morning lately has been cold in my room.
No one else was up to get me coffee or turn off my fan, so I put on my big fluffy slipper socks and reminded myself that good things were coming and I should be thankful for that.
I played games till 8 am when Mundo the blood guy came to take my blood sample. Jaely woke up and let him in. That man is so pleasant and easy on the eyes too. Plus when he takes your blood you hardly feel a thing. He's perfect and would put anyone in a good mood
I thanked him for being such a hero and for doing his job so well.
When he left my daughter got me coffee and I pondered all the great things I got for my birthday. Grandson in Ohio sent me a box fan, oldest son sent me a tablet/ IPad ? I still need to set it up for use. One wonderful friend here sent me a beautiful shirt and another put 10 dollars in my paypal. Now that's great friends.
I am so thankful. So what are you thankful for today?

How nice that you received those great gifts, especially the ones from MyLot friends. I'm thankful for a roof over my head, food to eat and money to pay the bills. Have a great Friday.

yes because not unusual to get gifts from family but when you get from an online friend you have never even met it is precious. You know that person is specially wonderful friend

@bunnybon7 lol very true but I do look forward to having another baby. I always love my kids being around. I hate them being at school again but they will be happy.

I still have that little dehumidifier going all the time plus the damprid bags and even that doesn't seem to help this time. May just be I am getting worse. or this house. Not sure. Glad you are back in your lovely home sweetie. Hope our weather gets better too.

I am thankful for having friends, we try to be the best friends possible. We talk about it, we try to and we sometimes have aruments, we cover them with understanding each other, we get our connection to be the most important thing. We try to figure out why we are here for, and it sometimes get clear for a moment, and then it disappears. I'm also thankful for having my brother and sister, my mom and dad, my grandmother...

Sounds like your day got better. I am glad you have some good people in your life. I am glad it is Friday and tomorrow I will sit on the porch and read and enjoy my cat when she comes out to visit me.
