Since my parents don't want to visit their favorite salons yet, they asked me if I know how to cut/trim hair. Of course, I said yes - with confidence, despite not being a pro at it. Going to the salon is perilous because the virus is still out there, and I don't want them to take the risk. So, yeah. I did it a while ago and they are pretty happy with the outcome.

Hubby has always had me cut his hair and I trim my own. It also gets better with practice. If they are happy, that is what matters. They are happy and safe.

I used to style my mother's hair. After a tiresome day, she'd ask me to style her hair as she said it was soothing. I would get out a brush, hairspray and curling iron and hairstyling I went!

That was very nice of you to help out your parents! It's funny how much we miss the little things when they are taken away from us, such as the simple act of getting our hair cut at the salon.

Good for you! I cut my own hair a few times when our salons were closed. I figured if it was really bad I'd just wear a hat until it grew back, lol.
